AdlerCaps is a closed captioning system that uses guests’ mobile devices instead of equipment provided by the museum. Built on a PHP chat room, script playback and timing are managed by an administrator device that sends each caption to the chat server, which then distributes them to the connected guest devices.

This project introduced me to websockets and how to pass information between devices in real-time. I also created a distribution version with installation instructions for industry partners.
