Designed as an update and replacement for a Flash-based experience, Postcards makes the concept of astronomical distance more approachable for guests. They select a location, have their photo taken, and then download a postcard from that location with information about how long it would have taken to reach them.

This exhibit allows us to explore the use of webcams in digital experiences and how to leverage the resulting content for fundraising and social media.
