Highlighting the wonders of the Chicago night sky, I explain that constellations form the formal map, but emphasize that it’s most useful to aspiring scientists. Everyone else can and should create their own pictures in the sky. During my show, I encourage guests to call out the shapes they see in the constellation outlines. 

My most interesting presentation experience was during the Total Solar Eclipse in August, 2017. I gave an outdoor version of my show at a forest preserve near Carbondale, IL to about 100 attendees.
